A new perspective on problem solving
Last Friday, the United Netherlands Delegation was welcomed at the McKinsey Office in Amsterdam. A day that provided our delegates with problem solving theory and immediately put this to the test by means of a case study about the new, promising NGO Sadil Togo (www.sadiltogo.com). Delegates were invited to strategically approach problem analysis and problem solving and enthousiastically brainstormed, analysed and pitched ideas about Sadil Togo. A skills training in the afternoon centred around communication rounded off a great day!
Lots of inspiration was taken home from the visit to McKinsey&Company, and now preparations for the Harvard National Model United Nations are in their final stages. The Delegation will leave for a training week in New York in just under 2 weeks and afterwards perform at the world's most prestigious MUN at Harvard University. We wish our delegates all the best for the groundwork for the conference.

Last Friday, United Netherlands visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague. An inspiring morning program consisting of lectures by diplomats was followed by a fierce MUN session.
It was great to get to know diplomatic bits and bobs, tips and tricks and ins & outs of the United Nations from a Dutch perspective! Many thanks to the Ministry for hosting such an inspiring and interesting day!
